Korosho Cooperative Joint Enterprise (KCJE) Limited is a cooperative organisation established by six cooperative unions in 2022 to consolidate and strengthen the production and marketing of cashew and other produce through cooperatives in Tanzania.

We provide a range of services to farmers and cooperative unions
KCJE bulk-procures and distributes quality pesticides, sulphur, fertilizers and farming tools to member unions and cashew farmers — affordably and on time — ensuring better yields and quality produce.
We distribute modern motorized sprayers and agricultural drones, helping farmers control pests efficiently, save time and apply inputs with precision across large cashew fields.
We provide standard-grade jute and poly bags for storing and transporting raw cashew — for the 2026/2027 season KCJE is distributing over 9.3 million bags to farmers.
Accurate digital scales at buying posts ensure transparent, fair weighing so every farmer is paid correctly for each kilo of cashew sold.
Through member unions, KCJE runs competitive cashew auctions and connects farmers to local and international buyers — the first week of the 2026/2027 season realised over TZS 160 billion.
KCJE delivers training, advisory support and good-governance oversight to its six member unions — strengthening accountability, transparency and their capacity to serve farmers effectively.
